Kim Thompson co-publisher of Fantagraphics passed away today. His work and contributions to comics as a whole cannot be measured. Just as when he came into comics, comics were never be the same; now as he leaves they will never be same agai…n. It was a good run and we are much richer people because of it.
Thank you Kim Thompson, you will not be forgotten.
Here’s Kim Thompson’s Wikipedia entry for those want a quick little history of the man.

I’m having a rough couple of days. The low end. There’s comfort knowing I’ll be back up soon. Then down again. Then back up. You’d think I’d be used to it by now.
Not sure how long it will last, but I’m seriously considering going off social media again. It doesn’t do much for me these days aside from make me feel more isolated. Whatever “promotional” value it has for my work doesn’t seem to make a lick of difference anyway. Less is probably more in my case anyway. I imagine if I do cut ties from Facebook, Twitter, and the like, I’ll keep tumblr open. I’ve always felt like I was alone on here anyway.
The new Sigur Rós is either the best or worst thing to listen to right now.
